Implicit Core 1.0.0 is the stable initial release, licensed under Apache-2.0.

Implicit is the experience layer for AI agents. Virtualize large agent environments. Materialize only the state each experience actually needs. Keep your existing agent, framework and evaluator.

This release promotes validated public RC2 source f741c1d. Execution, storage and materialization behavior are unchanged; package implicit.__version__ metadata, installation documentation and release automation are updated. Stable binaries have new checksums. The historical v1.0.0rc2 tag and assets remain unchanged.

Canonical installation in a fresh environment:

The distribution is implicit-ai; the import is implicit. Python 3.11+; zero third-party runtime dependencies. GitHub assets provide manual wheel/sdist installation. Avoid the unrelated implicit distribution in the same environment because it shares the import namespace.

The preserved rc1 benchmark recorded 155/155 equivalent cases, 93.88% aggregate, 94.40% mean, and 99.55% median retained serialized/materialized-state reduction, with approximately +0.554 seconds mean full-pipeline latency per case. These bytes are not RAM. Procedural experience tests extend through 1,000,000 experiences; bounded local MCP and external adapters have separate synthetic scope. Native replay assets are excluded. No speed, allocator, learning, SOTA, universal superiority or arbitrary-scale production claim is made.

Actual Linux and Windows CI passed all eight Python 3.11–3.14 jobs before publication. Canonical wheel/sdist repeat builds reproduce exact bytes with SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH=1600000000; the sdist rebuild reproduces the wheel.

Local MCP uses eight bounded synthetic tools on stdio; no uploaded custom-code execution. Plugin source and a repository marketplace are public. Desktop installation, universal directory acceptance, hosted ChatGPT connectivity and actual search indexing remain unverified.
