Read before installing

  • Unsigned installers. Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper will warn on first launch. The install guide explains how to get past it.
  • Platforms. Run on Windows and macOS, including Setup, though not every feature has been checked on each. The Linux packages are built but have not been run on a real machine.
  • No update check yet. Install new versions by hand over the old one.
  • Data folder. The app identifier is com.zelucode.localmind. Data saved by an earlier build that used com.localmind.app is not picked up automatically.

What is in this release

  • AI Tools: a catalog of free-tier tools with filters, search, sorting, list or grid view, favorites, custom tools and Quick Query.
  • Ask box: send a prompt to one AI from the catalog, or to several.
  • Bookmarks: 270 curated free web tools, with import and export as JSON, browser HTML, CSV and Markdown.
  • Runtimes and Setup: detect Ollama, LM Studio, Jan and OmniRoute; one-click install of Ollama, Gemini CLI and Qwen Code after you confirm the exact command.
  • Key Vault: keys encrypted with AES-256-GCM, master key in your operating system's credential store; test a key against Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Mistral or Anthropic.
  • Config Exporter and Rate-Limit Matrix: copy-ready setups for editors, agents and SDKs, and a free-tier quota comparison.
  • Backups: restore your workspace; protect backups that include keys with a passphrase (Argon2id and AES-256-GCM).
  • Themes, Report a Problem, and a documentation site (Help > Documentation).

The Advisor is built but hidden until its provider choice is made. See the full changelog for details.
