First public release.

A Krita docker that pulls a working palette straight out of whatever you're painting.

Features

  • one-click palette extraction from your canvas
  • click a swatch to paint with it · right-click to copy hex, remove, or keep it
  • kept colours (★ row) survive restarts
  • colour harmonies for your brush colour: complementary, analogous, triadic, tints and shades
  • save and load GIMP .gpl palettes
  • short guided tour on first open (? replays it)

Install

  • Linux: ./install.sh
  • Windows: double-click install.bat
  • macOS: double-click install.command

Then restart Krita, tick Colouto under Settings > Configure Krita > Python Plugin Manager, restart again, and enable Settings > Dockers > Colouto.

Manual: drop colouto.desktop + the colouto/ folder from the zip into your pykrita folder.
