• Manual pages overhaul

  • Standardized formatting across all pkgutils man pages.
  • Refined SYNOPSIS sections, reordered options, clarified examples.
  • Added new packages(7) manual page.
  • Unified style with BSD‑style placeholders and structure.
  • Removed obsolete HISTORY sections.

• CLI/help output improvements

• Source code and build system

  • Split codebase into libpkgutils and utilities for clearer separation.
  • Refactored print_version() and fixed compiler warnings across pkgutil.cpp, pkgadd.cpp, pkginfo.cpp, pkgrm.cpp, and fs_utils.cpp.
  • Added config.mk for library build flags.
  • Introduced SUBDIRS in Makefile for simpler builds.
  • Added commented flags-sanitizer.mk includes for future hardening.
  • Cleaned up redundant lint targets and .gitignore files.

• Documentation updates

  • Removed obsolete HACKING.md and irrelevant tips;

  • Removed outdated irc-notify.yml and lint workflows.
  • Added scdoc to build dependencies.
