Fan Rank

AniList popularity counts users who have a title on their lists. Fan Rank compares its favourites with that popularity, then places the result among eligible manhwa.

Reading the numbers

  • Popularity percentile compares a title's reach with other eligible AniList-linked manhwa.
  • Fan Rank compares its favourite rate with that same group.
  • Underrated score subtracts popularity percentile from Fan Rank. A positive number means readers favour it more often than its reach alone might suggest.

That is why a widely read title can rank lower with fans than a smaller title.

Where Fan Rank starts

The first step is a simple ratio:

Fan% = favourites / popularity * 100

For example, 820 favourites among 10,134 AniList users gives a raw Fan% of about 8.1%.

Aeon adjusts for confidence before calculating the percentile. Fan Rank is not the raw 8.1% ratio. It can change with AniList statistics or catalogue updates.

Fan Rank appears only where the needed AniList statistics are available. Other sources use compatible metrics.

Catalogue distributions

These charts show how values are spread across the catalogue. They are a snapshot, not permanent ratings. The bars can move after a library update.
