All-instances view alphabetical sort sorts incorrectly

Describe the bug
When all of PD's instances are sorted alphabetically they do not sort correctly. A portion will go from A-Z, then another portion will start again at A. Note: I first noticed this when looking at PD's ecosystems but it impacts the all-instances view too.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Accounts
2. From the EcoSys dropdown select Petdesk
3. Once all instances are displayed ensure that the sort that's selected is A-Z.
4. Scroll down and look at how all instances are sorted.

Expected behavior
Alphabetical sort will sort ALL selected instances alphabetically.

@nibblebot the sorting should be in alphanumeric order as case insensitive [aA-zZ]. Currently it is still spliting the lower case set from the upper case set.

This hasn't been resolved - when I look at the list view I am still seeing instances out of order. you can see the first letters on these instances below T -> V -> W -> Y -> 380 -> A

This seems to be specifically related to Mac & Chrome.

@nibblebot I noticed that if I go to the instance list view, it will first appear to be alphabetical - with that one H** instance on top and the rest in alphabetical order. However, if I toggle between sort by Date and back to sort by A-Z it then sorts improperly as shown above in the screenshot. Maybe that's a clue to what's happening??
