FalloutCraft v.0.1.2
FalloutCraft v0.1.2 — Scavenging & Gathering 🔎 🪓 ⛏️
Play Fallout 4 as a Minecraft player: Fallout renders the world, collision and NPCs; Minecraft runs your movement, inventory, hearts/hunger, building and combat. Based on SkyCraft by chasmlol — huge thanks.
⚠️ Early test build. Expect bugs. Please report them in Issues with your logs.
What's new
- 🔎 Scavenging: the first time you open a container (desks, toolboxes, fridges, safes...) or search a corpse, you also find a little everyday Minecraft loot, even saplings and seeds, so you can start a farm or plant trees. The chat says "Found! ..." in bold yellow. Each container and corpse gives it once.
- 🪓 Gathering resources from the world: mine Fallout's world like Minecraft's:
- Trees: chop one and the whole tree comes down (it's removed from Fallout's world) — you get logs, and often a sapling (sometimes an apple) to plant a new one.
- The ground: dig the Wasteland: a couple of layers of dirt, then about a dozen layers of stone with ores — coal, iron, copper, redstone, gold, lapis and the rare diamond — before bedrock. You can climb down into your holes; Minecraft's blocks show through Fallout's ground where you dug.
- 🧱 NPCs collide with your builds: blocks you place are now solid for Fallout as well, so NPCs and creatures bump into your walls instead of walking through them.

FalloutCraft v0.1.0
FalloutCraft v0.1.0 — first test build ☢️⛏️
Play Fallout 4 as a Minecraft player: Fallout renders the world, collision and NPCs; Minecraft runs your movement, inventory, hearts/hunger, building and combat. Based on SkyCraft by chasmlol — huge thanks.
⚠️ Early test build. Expect bugs (holes in the ground on some roads, odd cases in big fights). Please report them in Issues with your logs.
What works
- Minecraft movement and physics on Fallout terrain, roads and buildings
- Combat both ways: hit NPCs from Minecraft, Fallout damage goes to your hearts
- Health linked: eating heals in both games, Fallout health bar mirrors your hearts
- Armour reduces damage; shield blocks bullets
- S.P.E.C.I.A.L. affects Steve (Strength → attack, Endurance → max health, Agility → speed, ...)
- Separate interiors: what you build in one interior doesn't appear in others

FalloutCraft v0.1.1
FalloutCraft v0.1.1 — Interiors & Minecraft Mobs 🏠 🧟 ⛏️
Play Fallout 4 as a Minecraft player: Fallout renders the world, collision and NPCs; Minecraft runs your movement, inventory, hearts/hunger, building and combat. Based on SkyCraft by chasmlol — huge thanks.
⚠️ Early test build. Expect bugs (holes in the ground on some roads, odd cases in big fights). Please report them in Issues with your logs.
What's new
- Interiors fixed: walls, floors and doors inside buildings (e.g. Concord Museum) were placed several blocks off, which made invisible walls everywhere. Collision now lines up with Fallout's own floor.
- Minecraft nights in the Wasteland: Minecraft's clock now follows Fallout's. From 20:00 to 5:00, zombies, skeletons and creepers show up around you outdoors, alongside the Wasteland's own mutants. Zombies and skeletons burn at dawn; creeper explosions dig holes in the ground. (Tip:
set gamehour to 22in Fallout's console to try it.) - Experimental — NPCs vs your builds: Minecraft blocks you place now get Fallout collision, so NPCs should bump into them (they still path as if the blocks weren't there).
