@zhe97396-tech zhe97396-tech released this 19 Oct 01:51

First public release of dsh-lazy-mcp, a lazy-loading MCP gateway for DeepSeek Harness.

MCP servers are connected on first use instead of at startup, disconnected after an idle window, and their tool metadata is cached on disk so the model can see tools without connecting. Configuration is compatible with standard mcpServers files (Claude Desktop / Pi / Cursor style) and with Pi's mcp-adapter.json.

Highlights

  • Four lifecycle modes (lazy, lazy-keep-alive, eager, keep-alive) per server
  • Five model-facing tools: mcp_servers, mcp_tools, mcp_call, mcp_resources, mcp_read_resource
  • Disk cache for tool/resource metadata, with optional invalidation on config change
  • Config import from existing MCP setups, plus per-server and per-tool overrides
  • Child-process environment scrubbing (*KEY*, *TOKEN*, *SECRET*, *PASSWORD*, DSH_*)
  • Delivery-class reporting (not_sent / server_error / may_have_run)
  • Status panel in the sidebar and an in-conversation chip
  • verify.mjs: 76 self-checks against a real MCP reference server
