v0.11.3 - Hour-aligned identity-prompt timestamp for better cache/freshness balance
Why this release
v0.11.1 dropped the agent identity-prompt timestamp from minute-precision to day-only to make the system prompt cacheable by upstream providers. That turned out to be over-conservative: server-side prompt caches typically live ~5 minutes (Anthropic default, OpenAI) and at most ~1 hour (Anthropic 1h beta) — never 24 hours. Day-only precision therefore stripped away useful time-of-day context from agents without buying any extra cache benefit.
What changed
- Hour-aligned timestamp in the identity prompt:
%Y-%m-%d %H:00 (%A).- Stable within an hour → matches the longest realistic provider cache window.
- Restores time-of-day awareness (morning / afternoon / evening) for agents.
- Renamed the corresponding
todayparameter/variable tonowfor accuracy.
Maintenance
- Mechanical clippy fixes for lints introduced by a newer Rust toolchain (
sort_by→sort_by_key+Reverse, collapsibleif let→ match guards). No behavior change.
