Self-hosted sync (Gitea / Forgejo) — now actually reachable

The sync engine was never GitHub-specific: push/pull are plain libgit2 over HTTPS with your token. The setup screen was what blocked self-hosted users — the provider picker only appeared after you saved a token, and saving validated every token against api.github.com and deleted it when that failed. A Gitea/Forgejo token could never survive step one.

• Provider picker moved into the sign-in screen: choose Gitea / Forgejo (self-hosted) before pasting your token.
• No api.github.com calls for non-GitHub providers. A bad token now surfaces on the first push, where the error is meaningful.
• The github.com PAT help link and the "signed in as @user" header no longer appear for self-hosted.
• Verified end-to-end against a real Gitea server (new gitea_selfhosted_e2e_test.rs: push → pull → edit → push → fast-forward, plus a bad-token rejection test). (#229)

Android no longer shows features it can't run

The Android build ships without a Git engine, but the app still drew the full Sync panel, version history, and recipe settings — every control answered Command … not found, and with auto-commit enabled you got an error toast on every save. Those surfaces are hidden on Android now, replaced by a plain explanation of why. (#230)

To be clear: this removes the broken UI and the misleading errors. It does not add Git sync to Android — that feature genuinely isn't there yet.

No more .solomd folder in folders you only read

Opening a folder just to read a note left a .solomd directory behind. That folder exists to hand your open tabs between devices, so it is now written only inside genuinely cloud-synced folders (iCloud / Dropbox / OneDrive). Ordinary local folders are left untouched. (#236)

Install / 安装

• macOS: download .dmg, drag SoloMD to /Applications
• Windows: download .msi. On first launch you may see "Windows protected your PC" → click More info → Run anyway (one-time, until SmartScreen reputation builds). 首次运行点 "更多信息" → "仍要运行" 即可
• Linux: download .AppImage (chmod +x and run) or .deb / .rpm — now including arm64/aarch64
• Android: arm64-v8a covers essentially all 2019+ phones; universal if you're unsure
