Novel Architect v3.0.0

Novel Architect is now public as an open-source agent skill for long-form Chinese serial web-novel workflows.

This release packages the current v3.0.0 skill runtime, documentation, open-source metadata, and release-ready repository structure. It is designed for agent-assisted workflows where the agent plans, writes, reviews, repairs, and continues long-form fiction with review gates, deterministic state guards, and quality signals.

Installation

Download the release artifact:

novel-architect-skill-v3.0.0.zip

Unzip it and place the novel-architect/ skill directory in a skill location supported by your agent tool.

Common locations:

~/.agents/skills/novel-architect/
~/.claude/skills/novel-architect/
~/.config/opencode/skills/novel-architect/

Tool paths can change across versions. Use your tool's current skill configuration as the source of truth.

The release bundle contains only the novel-architect/ skill runtime files and includes novel-architect/LICENSE.

Limitations

  • Novel Architect does not guarantee publication, signing, revenue, ranking, reader growth, or platform approval.
  • It is optimized for Chinese commercial serial web-novel workflows, not general-purpose prose, poetry, or short experimental fiction.
  • It expects a capable agent that can read skill instructions and run local CLI commands.
  • Literary judgment still belongs to the agent and maintainer; the Python layer enforces structure, gates, hashes, state checks, and merge rules.
  • The project must not be used to copy an existing book or imitate a living author's exact style.
