v1.0.0 - Meet Baton
AgentPeek is now Baton. This is a major release that expands the project from a Claude Code companion into a unified, non-intrusive remote workspace for both Claude Code and Codex. Pick up a task on your phone, follow it live, and hand control back without losing context. Your session data continues to stay in your own AWS account.

- First-class Claude Code and Codex support - discover and sync both runtimes into one Device -> Project -> Session catalog, open existing sessions, create new ones, send follow-ups, and interrupt active turns
- True real-time streaming - responses, thinking and progress, tool input and output, diffs, and file activity now render as they happen, with ordered delivery, batching, deduplication, and reliable authoritative handoff
- Remote approvals and control - answer questions, review plans, approve or deny Claude tools, handle Codex command/file/MCP approvals, and safely take over compatible active sessions
- Runtime-aware commands - live Claude slash commands plus Codex commands, Skills, saved prompts, model choices, and runtime-specific options
- Richer rendering - streaming Markdown, syntax-highlighted code and diffs, lazy Mermaid diagrams with fullscreen gestures, LaTeX, collapsible execution timelines, and project/artifact previews
- Faster navigation at scale - paginated project and session lists, cache-first navigation, smoother cold starts, and stable loading states across mobile and desktop
- Claude usage insights - inspect status, settings, rate limits, token history, and model usage charts from the app
- Stronger cross-platform Bridge - native Windows support, safer atomic updates with rollback, dependency validation, startup recovery, branding-migration support, and uninstall tools
- A new identity - Baton brings a new name, app icons, launch experience, and refreshed product design across iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and the web
Upgrading from AgentPeek
Existing deployments can upgrade in place. The Bridge update path preserves local configuration and handles the AgentPeek-to-Baton migration. If an older Bridge does not update automatically, open the Setup page and run the current one-line Bridge install command again.
