🔒 Security & Cryptographic Architecture

• Argon2id Key Derivation: Hardened against GPU and ASIC cracking using 64 MiB memory, 3 iterations, and 4 parallel threads.
• AES-256-GCM Envelope Encryption: Every vault item is individually encrypted with unique 96-bit initialization vectors (IV) and protected by 128-bit authentication tags.
• Zero-Knowledge Design: Your master password and decrypted credentials never touch the internet. Keys in memory are zeroized with crypto.randomFill / buffer zeroing upon vault lock or exit.
• Local SQLite Engine: Fast and atomic storage stored locally on your machine (voltrex_vault.db) with restricted file system permissions.
