How to update: run the install command again, then log out and back in. Your tasks, events, clipboard, shelf and settings stay.

Installed from the .deb or .rpm? Install this release's package the same way, then log out and back in.

Fixed

  • The Usage page shows your ChatGPT plan and limits as they are now, as Codex's /status does, rather than
    as Codex last logged them: after an upgrade or downgrade it said the old plan (and its old limits) until
    Codex was used again. It asks at most every 10 minutes, or when the page opens, as for Claude.
  • Settings → AI Usage lists ChatGPT as soon as Codex is signed in, even before Codex was first used.
