Usage Repository Web Server

Recommended to use a proxy with https.

Method 1: Generate .repo file

Set the REPO_FILE_URL environment variable to the URL (including the protocol). For this example, https://spotify.example.com

When the REPO_FILE_URL environment variable is set, the spotify-unofficial.repo file is generated at the root of the repository.

File generation can be customized using other environment variables.

Install the repository:

DNF5

sudo dnf install dnf5-plugins
sudo dnf config-manager addrepo --from-repofile=https://spotify.example.com/spotify-unofficial.repo

DNF5 (If repository authentication is enabled)

sudo dnf install dnf5-plugins
sudo dnf config-manager addrepo --from-repofile=https://${REPO_AUTHENTICATION_USER}:${REPO_AUTHENTICATION_PASSWORD}@spotify.example.com/spotify-unofficial.repo

DNF4

sudo dnf install 'dnf-command(config-manager)'
sudo dnf config-manager --add-repo https://spotify.example.com/spotify-unofficial.repo

DNF4 (If repository authentication is enabled)

sudo dnf install 'dnf-command(config-manager)'
sudo dnf config-manager --add-repo https://${REPO_AUTHENTICATION_USER}:${REPO_AUTHENTICATION_PASSWORD}@spotify.example.com/spotify-unofficial.repo

Method 2: Create file manually

/etc/yum.repos.d/spotify-unofficial.repo
