Show Notary's four screens on the signer page - #8
Merged
Conversation
The page described the app and then showed a GIF of one moment in it. Now it shows all four screens, each with a line saying what that screen is for, and the GIF is gone: it ran once and moved on, which is the wrong medium for "what does this look like". The copy this carries forward says what Notary is built out of, because "native" on its own does not distinguish it from a web app in a window.

The signer page described the app and then showed a GIF of one moment in it. Now
it shows all four screens, each with a line saying what that screen is for.
/signergains a The whole app grid: setup, unlock, serving, request. Twoup on a wide page, one up on a phone, because a screenshot of a window is
unreadable at half a phone's width.
notary-demo.gifis gone. It ran once and moved on, and a still stays stillwhile you read the sentence under it.
/,/ecosystem,/roadmapand/signernow says what itis built out of. "Native" on its own does not distinguish it from a web app in
a window.
The pictures are real windows photographed from the running app. Every pixel
inside the window is the app's own, and the signer pubkey and
bunker://URL inthem come from a stub daemon, so no real key appears anywhere.
Two things this does not fix
The em-dashes. There are around forty across
content/, nearly allpre-existing. I removed the ones on every line I touched and left the rest,
because a site-wide copy sweep is its own change and does not belong buried in a
screenshot PR.
/roadmapis out of date. It still describes the old plan, including "roughlya milestone a month" and a twelve-item list that no longer matches what is being
built. Rewriting it is the next piece of work, and it is where the remaining
em-dashes on that page get dealt with.
