Release list
VM Cursor 1.0.1
The tutorial is live: https://videometrixs.com/vm-cursor
Changes in the plugin
- The How To button in the Setup group now opens the tutorial page.
- Smoothing now defaults to 15 frames instead of 4, for a calmer camera.
- Pivot Strength now defaults to 1.0, so the camera follows the cursor fully.
- Tilt Shift falloff now defaults to 0.3, for a softer and wider transition.
Only default values changed. Existing timelines keep the settings you already
made, so there is nothing to redo after updating.
To update: copy the new VMCursor.ofx.bundle folder over the old one in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\ and restart DaVinci Resolve.
VM Capture is unchanged since 1.0.0. Its ZIP is attached again so that this
release page has both tools in one place.

VM Cursor 1.0.0 and VM Capture 1.0.0
First public release.
VM Cursor is the DaVinci Resolve plugin. VM Capture is the screen
recorder that feeds it. Both are free. You can use the plugin on its own,
but the recorder is what makes the automation work.
Before you unzip
Right-click the downloaded ZIP, choose Properties, tick Unblock, click OK.
Windows marks downloaded files as untrusted, and unblocking the ZIP clears that
for everything inside it. Each ZIP contains a README with the rest.
Requirements
Windows 10 or 11. The plugin needs an NVIDIA graphics card and was developed on
DaVinci Resolve 21. VM Capture works with NVIDIA, Intel or AMD.
Antivirus
VM Capture is packaged with PyInstaller, and a small number of scanners flag
anything packaged that way regardless of its contents. Scan result for this
build: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/25b41c109eea11a12dfa876aeea1d57559a534cb411c84caf733d43399b13df3
