Release v0.4.0: Aether 1.2.0, MASQUE transport choice, app logo Aether core updated to v1.2.0 (SHA256-verified): - data-plane validation no longer false-positives: the probe now targets an external resolver (1.1.1.1 was inside Cloudflare's own network, so a gateway could "pass" without reaching the real internet) and requires two consecutive round-trips - fixes "connected but traffic hangs" - new MASQUE transport choice: HTTP/3 (QUIC, default) or HTTP/2 (TCP) GUI integration of the transport choice: - new "MASQUE Transport" toggle in the Advanced panel (HTTP/3 default), disabled mid-session and when the protocol is WireGuard/gool; persisted with the rest of the profile (serde default keeps old saved profiles loading cleanly) - passed via the AETHER_MASQUE_HTTP2 env var, not a flag: there is no --h3 flag, and setting the env to any value also suppresses 1.2.0's new interactive "MASQUE transport" prompt in both directions (without this, every MASQUE connect would hit a prompt the GUI has to answer) - prompts.rs gains a fallback rule answering that menu if it ever appears anyway; the rest of the 1.2.0 CLI surface is byte-identical to 1.1.1 (verified by diffing upstream cli.rs) App icon: - new meteor logo (src-tauri/icons/logo.png) applied across the full generated icon set (ico/icns/png + platform stores) via tauri icon Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
