Styles

YouTube Chapters Export

  • Added customizable YouTube chapter format

    You can now customize how exported YouTube chapters are written using placeholders such as:

    • <timestamp>
    • <verse-arabic>
    • <verse-translation>
    • <surah-translation>
    • ...
      This gives more control over how chapters appear in YouTube.

Notifications

  • Added completion notifications

    You can now receive Windows notifications with a sound when:

    • video export finishes
    • AI segmentation finishes
    • AI translation trimming finishes
      This can be disabled in Settings.

Translations

  • Improved fetching translations from older projects

    When translations are fetched from older projects, Quran Caption now automatically checks them for possible inconsistencies.

  • Rebuilt fetched translations from word indexes

    When possible, fetched translations are now rebuilt from their saved word indexes instead of copying the old text directly.

    This only applies when the translation was not manually edited.

  • Added support for Chinese translation trimming

    Chinese translations are now better supported both for manual trimming and AI trimming.

Preview and Styling

  • Fixed max-line style issue caused by empty subtitles

    Empty subtitles are now ignored when calculating max-line fitting, preventing incorrect font size behavior.

AI Video

  • Removed AI Video feature
