Quran Caption v3.5.91

This update adds a new Minimal Quran mushaf, improves timed background containers, fixes export issues with “show only current word” mode, and improves stability around export performance settings.

Mushaf

  • Added Minimal Quran mushaf

    This mushaf keeps the Arabic text but uses fewer vowels and symbols.

    It can be better suited for certain Arabic fonts where the fully detailed Quran text may be harder to render cleanly.

Word-by-Word Export

  • Fixed export issues when using “show only current word” for Arabic WBW

    This fixes multiple problems that could happen during export, such as:

    • translation text being cut
    • styles not being preserved correctly
    • incorrect rendering behavior when exporting with this option enabled

Translations Editor

  • Added Arabic verse number display at the end of each verse

    This makes it easier to identify and navigate verses while editing translations.

Background Containers

  • Added timing support for background containers

    Background containers now have an “always show” style option, allowing them to appear or disappear only during specific parts of the video.

Export

  • Export performance profile is now stored globally

    The default profile is now balanced instead of fastest.

  • Fixed export completion timing

    Quran Caption now waits properly for frame capture to finish before completing the export.

    If your computer cannot handle the selected number of parallel workers, you will now get a clear error message asking you to lower the worker count.

Settings

  • Reordered advanced settings for a cleaner and more logical layout.

Arabic Rendering

  • Fixed justified Arabic text alignment

    Justified Arabic text is now correctly aligned as RTL instead of LTR.
