x3utils GUI v2.1.2-BETA
Pre-releasePre-release. Test build — v2.1.0 remains the recommended download.
Safer SHU compatibility check. After preserving the full flash backup, SHU Compatible now compares live SRAM identity with the firmware in flash before anything is patched or written. It identifies VCU versus MCU and the running firmware version. VCU model comes from the serial; MCU still needs operator model selection when the normal version policy applies.
New ROM and RAM check. The confirmation shows the backup identity, firmware key state, SRAM component/version, and VCU model/serial. Conflicting identity or version evidence blocks writing. Region information stays hidden until it is properly validated.
Newer firmware protection. A recognised OEM-style XTEA field at 0x1440 blocks SHU compatibility because the current patch method is not supported there. The SRAM version is still cross-checked against ROM before the refusal is shown. Default or cleared key fields produce a warning instead of deciding compatibility by themselves.
RBT7 correction. The “less common chip package” warning was removed. RBT7 is an established controller package; swdart merely exposed a distinction that OpenOCD did not display. The write gate remains unchanged: an identified 128 KiB AT32F415 with 1024-byte pages.
Known limits
- XTEA detection uses the observed 16-character alphanumeric field shape. This is best-effort evidence, not an OEM specification.
- MCU SRAM identifies component and firmware version, but not scooter model.
- The ZT3/G3/F3 MCU compatibility boundary is conservatively set to 1.6.0 while field evidence is collected.
