Stable release. The first step toward 2.2.0, which will remove SHU compatible
everywhere. Backup + Flash with a compat zip on Slot 0 is now the main
route to SHU.
SHU compatible
- Removed from the Android app and the web app. Web users have already lost
it; Android users keep their current build until they update. - Desktop keeps it, under Advanced. It now patches factory firmware only and
refuses anything newer, already-compatible or modded, with nothing written.
The refusal points you to Backup + Flash, Slot 0, with a compat zip.
Android: closer to desktop
- Every backup now gets its backup info (.json) beside the
.bin. - A 2nd copy of both goes to
Documents/x3utils_2nd_copy. - Save log writes each run to
Downloads/x3utils/logs. - Both are switches in Settings, ON by default.
- Get file info is now on Android and works without an ST-Link.
Backup + Flash
- On an MCU board you're asked which scooter model it belongs to, after the
backup and before anything is written. The answer is recorded, never checked. - Phone and desktop share one picker: the scope sits under the title, and
one button takes a.binor, on Slot 0, a zip3 package.
Desktop: Backup EXTRAS
- Extra backup is out of beta: it reads the chip twice and saves only if
both reads match, with a RAM snapshot and a certificate, plus a mandatory
2nd copy. Needs the swdart backend (shown greyed on OpenOCD). - Also make zip files: zip3 / zip3.2 packed from the backup's slot 0.
- Get file info moved to the main list; SHU compatible is first under Advanced.
Protection
- Check protection and Unlock / rescue now work with Power-race.
- swdart Check connection reads the flash protection register and tells you
when the flash is read-protected.
Firmware
- G3 VCU 1.6.4 is recognised.
Known issue
- Windows, swdart, Power-race: while the race keeps failing, the window can
freeze and Cancel responds late or not at all.
