SweetHome

A simple little extension for your browser that allows you to set a custom HTML page as a home page

Get it on:

Features

  • Loads a custom HTML code that you can edit however you want as your home page
  • Allows you to use a style file with the page
  • Bypasses default page on start up by changing it to the custom one

Accessibility

This extension is mostly based on Firefox however it works with other browsers as well. Most of the chromium-based browsers are working perfectly with all features but currently they require chromium-based installation method but that will change a bit later

A list of some browsers as an example
Browser Available
Firefox
Edge ☑ (Works, But requires Chromium Installation Method)
Chrome ☑ (Works, But requires Chromium Installation Method)
Brave ☑ (Works, But requires Chromium Installation Method)
Opera ❌ (Planned)

Chromium-based browser installation

Because of the big variety of different chromium-based browsers and their extensions stores it is hard to publish one version for those browsers as they need a signature from their stores most of the time.

Right now. To install this extension on Chromium-based browser you need to:

  1. Install a chromium release from releases page and unpack it
  2. Go to your browser's extensions page
  3. Turn on developer mode and press on the "load unpacked" button
  4. Select the unpacked extension folder and thats it!
