@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Oct 18:48

Pre-release build for testers - not an official release yet.

One program, no installation: download the archive of your system below, unpack it, start the program.

  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit): OrganSampler-windows.zip - OrganSampler.exe inside.
  • macOS, Apple silicon (macOS 11 Big Sur or newer): OrganSampler-macos.zip - the app inside. Unsigned: right-click > Open the first time.
  • macOS, Intel (macOS 10.11 El Capitan or newer): OrganSampler-macos-10.11-intel.zip - the app inside. Unsigned: right-click > Open the first time. Untested by the project.
  • Linux x86-64 (glibc 2.38 or newer: Ubuntu 24.04, Mint 22, Debian 13, Fedora 39 and newer): OrganSampler-linux-x86_64.tar.gz - tar xzf it; the program is executable as it comes.
  • The two Source code entries are added by GitHub to every release: not needed for playing.

An organ to play: the Rural Organ demo - a small village organ with its sample folders and configuration, dry recordings with IR reverb.

More organs: Configurations, Organs - ready-made configurations for sample folders in wave format from Sonus Paradisi (free material).

Changes: OrganSampler/CHANGELOG.md.

Rural Organ 0.8 - demo sample folders (dry, with IR reverb)

@zurek-jiri zurek-jiri released this 13 Oct 12:02

Rural Organ - a small village organ to try OrganSampler with: three divisions, 24 stops, dry recordings with IR reverb. The sample folders and a ready configuration are inside. The samples are provided by Sonus Paradisi free of charge for trying the program.

Download RuralOrgan.rar (about 700 MB) below. Unpack it with OrganSampler itself: top bar > Unpack archive, choose the .rar and the folder. (Or with 7-Zip, Keka, The Unarchiver or unrar.)

What is inside

  • Rural Organ\Rural Organ.json - the configuration (portable: no MIDI or audio devices of the computer it was made on).
  • Rural Organ\README.txt - the same steps as here.
  • Rural Organ\Samply\ - the sample folders: TA, NW, CO and the two impulse responses in IR.

Then, in OrganSampler

  1. Load Configuration in the top bar, choose Rural Organ.json.
  2. Every route plays through the default sound device at once; a message says what to set up next (MIDI keyboards, the audio tabs, measure the polyphony, save).

The two Source code entries below are added by GitHub to every release - not needed; RuralOrgan.rar is the whole demo.

Needs OrganSampler 0.8.106 or later for the built-in unpacking: Releases. More organs: Configurations, Organs.
