ProPresenter Slide Clicker: v0.1.0 - Initial Release

We're excited to announce the first public release of the ProPresenter Slide Clicker, v0.1.0! 🎉

This initial version provides a simple yet effective web-based remote control for your ProPresenter presentations. Designed with ease of use in mind, it allows you to see what's on screen and what's coming next, all from a separate device on your local network.

Key Features in this Release:

  • Current & Next Slide View: See the text content, notes, and a thumbnail image for both your active slide and the upcoming one.

  • Intuitive Navigation: Easily advance or go back through your presentation using "Previous" and "Next" buttons. ◀️ ▶️

  • Configurable ProPresenter Connection: Enter your ProPresenter machine's local IP address and API port directly in the app, and it'll save for future use.

  • Real-time Updates: Your slide viewer automatically refreshes every 10 seconds to keep everything in sync with ProPresenter.

  • Responsive Design: Use it comfortably on your desktop, tablet, or phone. 📱💻

  • Docker Support: A docker compose setup is included for easy self-hosting, especially useful for accessing the app from mobile devices on your local network.

Important Notes for Use:

  • This application works within your local network only. Due to browser security, it cannot connect to ProPresenter over the internet (e.g., via https://).

  • Ensure ProPresenter's API is enabled and accessible on your network.

  • For best results, consider assigning a fixed IP address to your ProPresenter computer.
