Play together (town visits by code)
- The GameCube game's multiplayer is visiting a friend's town from memory card B. The new Play together card in the launcher replaces handing over the card: Share my town uploads it and shows a short code, the friend enters the code under Visit a town, takes the train in the game and later Sends the town back; the owner then Gets the town back.
- Needs a small server that one of you hosts – a single Python file or a Docker container: tools/multiplayer-server.
- Fixed: taking the train to another town crashed the 64-bit build (buffer overflow while loading the other town; on 32-bit it silently overwrote memory). Round trip tested on device.
Optional settings (in-game options – press Back)
- Gameplay → Nook's job: skip Tom Nook's part-time job (a running job is finished on the next load).
- Gameplay → Clock: reset the in-game clock to the device time on every load.
Animal Crossing Deluxe
- Cuyler36's Deluxe mod replaces the game code, so it cannot run on this port. The launcher can build the Deluxe image from your own disc with the official patches (hash-checked) and open it in Dolphin.
Translations (German, French, Italian, Spanish)
- Fixed: empty speech bubbles, e.g. K.K. at the start of a new game, and Rover's garbled time question. Affected every message with a choice whose pauses differ from the US text.
- Fixed: Spanish train ride with Rover could hang.
- Fixed: Spanish choices starting with "¡" were blank (Gyroid's save question). This one is in the translation generator – re-create the Spanish translation in the launcher once.
- Inventory menu words (Plant, Throw away, …) are translated after re-creating the translation.
- Android Back opens the in-game options menu.
Known issues
- Weekday names (HUD and Rover's question), the notice board and a few UI textures stay English (the HD pack only has German UI textures).
- "I'm new" in the player selection is only translated in German.
The APK contains no game data. Saves are compatible with v0.4.0 – install over it (same signature) to keep your town.
