What's New

Zync v2.34.1 moves Terminal first / Zync first into the profile menu under Keyboard shortcuts and fixes Escape closing the parent menu when dismissing a submenu. Your existing global preference is preserved.

  • Shortcut selector placement: Open the profile menu in the top bar, then Keyboard shortcuts to choose Terminal first or Zync first. The selector has moved out of the sidebar footer. (025d573)
  • Consistent flyouts: Profile and context-menu submenus share screen-edge positioning, hover behavior, and keyboard navigation. Flyouts open beside their parent row and adjust to fit the window. (025d573)

Shortcut modes remain global. Customize which Zync commands stay available in terminal-first mode under Settings → Shortcuts.

Fixed

  • Escape in submenus: Closing an expanded flyout with Escape keeps the parent context menu open, including when the submenu trigger has focus. (025d573)

  1. Shortcut menu: Open the profile menu in the top bar and find Keyboard shortcuts below Settings.

  4. Submenu dismissal: With a context-menu flyout open, press Escape and confirm the parent menu remains open.
