v0.18.1 - Unified First Run
v0.18.1 - Unified First Run
Agent Memory Bridge 0.18.1 is a narrow adoption polish release over the v0.18
Task Brief work.
0.18.1 = first-run config and Task Brief guidance without expanding the MCP surface.
What Changed
- Added
agent-memory-bridge first-run, a CLI/report that combines:- install commands
- client config snippets
doctor/verifysteps- a read-only Task Brief for the first namespace/query
- Added client config renderers for OpenCode and Hermes.
- Kept AMH optional:
first-rundoes not require the harness or treat packet
previews as durable authority. - Kept config writes manual: the command renders copy/paste output and does not
edit client config files. - The public MCP surface remains unchanged at 10 tools.
Validation
pytest:318 passed- release contract: passed
- public MCP surface: unchanged at
10tools - targeted first-run/config/task-brief tests: passed
Boundaries
This is still not:
- a new MCP tool
- an AMH runtime dependency
- a plugin package for every client
- an automatic client-config writer
- a scheduler, watcher, or worker runtime
- an automatic promotion, deletion, merge, or writeback path
first-run is a derived operator report. It helps a human or agent configure the
bridge and see the first Task Brief, but it does not write durable memory records
and client configuration remains a manual copy/paste step.
Public MCP Surface
The public MCP surface remains unchanged:
