Calibrate utilizes CI/CD to streamline the development process. Calibrate incorporates GitHub for version control. From there, an Amazon Web Services Elastic Cloud Compute containing Jenkins, a project management tool, is used to detect changes and streamline build/test procedures. These procedures are carried out by Maven, which is the primary build tool Calibrate uses within Jenkins. During the deployment process, SonarQube verifies that any changes made are improving the overall quality of the application. Next, the packaged jar is sent over to a separate deployment EC2 and automatically added to a docker swarm. The jar is used to create an image that is then containerized and deployed to the swarm. Beyond that, Calibrate configurations and credentials are stored within GitLab, as it allows for private repositories.
