Nyrna

Nyrna is a tool for suspending applications, freeing up CPU and GPU resources. It supports games and also other applications such as 3D renderers and video encoding processes. It currently only officially supports X11, but may support Wayland in the future.

TinkerGame lets you enable Nyrna for your game with a checkbox in the Game Menu. You can also use a text editor to set RUN_NYRNA=1 in your Game Config file.
