Program Execution Instructions

Download and extract the theLion_Windows.zip folder onto your computer
Open the folder and run the main.exe file
NOTE: YOU NEED TO PRESS ENTER TWICE TO START THE GAME

If you get a Microsoft Defender pop-up warning you about running unknown .exe’s, click “more info”, then “Run anyway”

Gameplay goal

Defeat as many waves of enemies as possible!

Game is playable from a 1st-person point of view, in a walkable, interactive pseudo-3D environment
Players can move around in the game environment. Walls prevent movement through collision detection
Enemies that move around the map, engage in combat with the player, and be defeated
Players use a gun to engage in combat with
A game-progression condition, where the game continues when the player completes the current wave by defeating all the enemies of that wave.
A game-end condition, where the game ends when the player is defeated by an enemy and dies.
A tracker to count the number of waves survived
