This page explains how to appeal a ban on the 5by5craft Minecraft server.

Why am I banned?

You were banned because of a violation of the rules of the 5by5craft Minecraft server.

A ban does not always mean you have done something wrong or that you are permanently banned.

Banning a player and asking them to appeal later is sometimes used by the staff as a preventative measure to draw attention to the rules for players who are offline when misconduct is discovered.

Please do not panic or take bans personally, as we are using them to protect players and their work. Cooperate with the staff and answer any questions honestly and respectfully, and you'll have an easy time ironing things out.

Appeal Guidelines

  • Please do not use profanity when appealing
  • Please be polite and understanding of the actions of all staff and users.
  • State your case briefly and honestly. We most likely know exactly what you did, and lying or making excuses will not get you unbanned.
  • Take responsibility for your actions on the server.

I understand. How can I appeal?
