notch-911 0.2.0
Answer your coding agents from the MacBook notch — plus now playing, a file shelf, and clipboard history.
What's new
- Clipboard history in the notch — the last 30 things you copied (text, images, files), ⇧⌘V from anywhere, confidential-marked content never captured.
- In-app update check — the app checks GitHub once a day and shows Update Available in the application menu when there's a newer release. Nothing downloads itself.
- DMG releases — this is the first release distributed as a DMG.
- Bundle identifier fixed to
com.aritra360.notch-911.
Install
Download the DMG below, open it, and drag notch-911 into Applications.
This app is not notarized (no paid Apple Developer account behind it), so Gatekeeper will block the first launch claiming the app "is damaged" or "can't be checked". It isn't — remove the quarantine flag once and it opens normally from then on:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/notch-911.appUpdating from an earlier build? The Accessibility grant (used for Direct Codex answers) is tied to the code signature and won't survive the update — remove notch-911 under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and add it back.
