  • Heinrich: could be useful to check the time of HTTPS certificates
    • Ex: boot HTTPS URI with Boot Manager
    • UTC (and time from network) sufficient in that case?
  • Linux EFI RTC ignores timezone
  • UTC (Linux) vs local time (Windows) in the RTC
    • -> Recommend UTC in the RTC in EBBR
  • Could make sense to mandate correct time when HTTPS protocols are supported
  • Do not allow losing the wakeup time across reset; no
    • Could work even on some devices without a battery, actually, as long as there is power
  • What do we have in U-Boot for wakeup?
    • Driver class does not support it
    • -> Wakeup services are already optional; no need to relax?
• Barebox now has UEFI (re-using code from U-Boot)
