Sample data

The sample-data tools are there so I can review the admin and reporting experience before a real site has enough traffic to make the screens useful.

What the sample dataset is for

I use it to:

• preview the dashboard
• test drilldown behaviour
• review top pages and interest reporting
• check filters, exports, and saved segments
• demonstrate the plugin on a development site

What it fills

The current seed flow creates realistic recent activity across:

• sessions
• events
• companies
• calls
• tracking numbers
• top pages
• WooCommerce interest patterns

The seeded activity is designed to feel current rather than historical filler from months ago, so charts and rankings stay useful during local UI work.

Removing the sample dataset

The dashboard also includes removal controls so I can reset the plugin back to a cleaner state once I am finished previewing or testing.

Recommended use

I treat sample data as a local development and demonstration tool, not a permanent fixture of a live site.
