The menu

  • The menu on the left can collapse to a slim bar of icons, with the button at its top or with Ctrl+; the app remembers your choice, and on narrower windows it starts as the slim bar by itself
  • The current page is marked with a subtle highlight and a short coloured bar instead of a solid block
  • Your name sits beside your picture at the bottom of the menu; click it to open your user record, the settings, or Version & updates
  • Version & updates has moved to the end of App Settings and now looks like Windows Update: one status, when the app last checked, and one clear action
  • The German version now says "Du" throughout

Looks and every page

  • The Windows style now looks like Windows 11 Settings: a calmer menu, a raised page, rounded grey check boxes, slim drop-down arrows and a search box with the magnifier on the right
  • Check boxes are a little larger in every style
  • Every page has the same header, and each page is called what the menu calls it
  • Settings sections are cards with an icon, a short description and their current value
  • The audit trail shows date and time on one line, and long changes show in full on hover or keyboard focus

Times, dates and numbers

  • Times, dates and numbers follow your Windows or Android regional format, so a 24-hour format no longer shows AM/PM
  • In User Settings > General you can choose your own time, date and number format; administrators can set the default in App Settings
  • Date and time fields accept quick typing such as 930, 9.30 or 9pm, say clearly when a date can't be used, and the calendar starts on your first day of the week, in your language
  • Dates can be typed without separators in your format's order: 812 is 8 December, 801 is 8 January, 80127 is 8 January 2027, and t is today
  • Start and end times: type them (810 is 08:10, 2010 is 20:10), or click the clock or press Alt+Down to pick hour and minutes in columns; an empty end opens just after the start
  • Each work calendar has a time step (1, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, 5 by default) for the minutes you can pick
  • Weeks start on the first day of the week your Windows or Android regional format sets; User Settings > General lets you choose another day, and "Reset to system settings" puts time, date, number and week back on the system
  • Entries made on the days the clocks change, and timers started just after midnight, now land on the right time and day

Time entries

  • A new entry starts where your last one that day ended and keeps the same work location; "Save and new" lets you enter a series quickly, and a start with a duration keeps its times
  • Work locations are a list you pick from instead of free text; administrators can add the address, country and coordinates, and merge duplicates such as "Home office" and "home office"
  • The entry dialog shows your earlier descriptions for the same project and activity, with a "Use" button, and warns when times overlap
  • Tags are calmer: pick them from a list, and they show as neutral chips with a small colour dot

Lists and tables

  • Every list is a table you can sort by clicking a column heading (again for the other direction), filter and sort from the small arrow beside it, and rearrange by dragging columns; the app remembers your layout
  • Rows with details fold open: Tracking shows each day with its suggestions, and what was added or dismissed, beneath it
  • Deleting from a row asks first, and empty cells stay empty instead of showing a dash

Tracking

  • Recorded time stays exact: suggestions count your day in blocks of 15 minutes (or 5 to 60), each block once, for what you did most in it, so a day can never add up to more than the day
  • Each suggestion shows its window and page titles, how long you were active and which blocks it would book; expand it to see every session in order, or hide titles while you share your screen
  • The actions sit in front of each row, as on Time entries; tick several rows to accept, dismiss or delete them together
  • Dismiss hides a suggestion and can be undone, and dismissed suggestions can be shown again; Delete removes the time for good, after asking, and it is not imported again
  • Timeline: see your day on an hour axis, app by app, select a stretch and create an entry from it
  • "How tracking works" explains what Tracking records, what it never reads, how blocks and rules work, and how to review
  • Rules are a list you can switch on and off, edit, reorder and delete, with a two-step wizard that shows what a rule would catch
  • "Import past days" on the Tracking page brings in the time the PC was in use from the Windows log, your browser history and connected calendars for up to 30 days in one step (on Android, app usage for up to 7 days); it replaces the separate "Fill gaps from Windows" button
  • Fixed: re-imports no longer bring back dismissed suggestions or add copies of accepted ones, work after midnight counts on the new day, and restoring a deleted entry takes its tracked time back
