Muslim v1.25.29

This release continues the product improvement cycle with a focused accessibility refinement for the Qibla compass, while preserving the existing Qibla calculation, posture validation, GPS behavior, prayer calculation rules, and notification identity contracts.

What changed

The Qibla compass now exposes a clearer semantic description to TalkBack and other screen readers. The description identifies the phone heading and explicitly explains that the Kaaba marker represents the calculated Qibla direction, so the compass remains understandable without relying on visual color, shape, or emoji rendering alone.

The Arabic and English Qibla resources now carry the new accessibility wording, while the project’s intentional partial-translation policy is preserved with a narrowly scoped Lint annotation. No prayer-time formula, bearing calculation, sensor-fusion rule, or GPS location flow was changed.

Verification

The GPS, Isha, AudioTrack, notification, and direct-customization contract checks passed. The Islamic visual-identity checks passed, Detekt completed successfully, and GitHub Actions passed Quality, unit tests, lint, Detekt, emulator instrumentation tests, Closed beta APK, and release artifact generation.

Installation

Download the APK from the GitHub release assets and install it over an existing installation. Existing local-first privacy behavior and prayer-calculation settings are preserved.
