Muslim v1.25.37
Muslim v1.25.37 is a substantial learning, Quran reliability, interface, and architecture update. It introduces the new Islamic Learning Academy, makes recitation sessions significantly more resilient across interruptions and failures, advances the shared design system, and strengthens automated release quality gates.
Islamic Learning Academy
- Introduces a comprehensive, progress-aware Islamic Learning Academy with structured learning paths and lesson-based navigation.
- Adds expanded learning material across Quran and Tajweed, prayer, purification, fasting and Ramadan, Zakat, Aqidah, Seerah, Hadith and Sunnah, ethics and daily life, family and social guidance, Islamic finance, Hajj and Umrah, and new-Muslim foundations.
- Adds an interactive lesson reader with table-of-contents navigation, self-check quizzes, stable assessment identifiers, and persisted quiz answers.
- Adds persisted lesson progress, Continue learning, progress planning, and mistake-review flows.
- Connects the new-Muslim roadmap directly to academy lessons and saved progress.
- Adds search that respects the active application locale and exposes lesson scholarly-review status in both Arabic and English.
- Improves academy navigation, back behavior, screen-state separation, and Detekt compliance for long-lived maintainability.
Quran Recitation Reliability
- Makes recitation recovery more robust with local-first playback behavior and explicit retry handling when an ayah fails.
- Retries from the failed ayah instead of restarting the full playback queue.
- Adds durable recitation-session persistence for the active queue, ayah, playback position, reciter context, and repeat state.
- Restores interrupted sessions explicitly with Resume or Discard behavior rather than silently restarting playback.
- Preserves seek position and the remaining ayah-repeat count across interruption and process recreation.
- Distinguishes normal completion, explicit stop, and playback failure so resumable sessions are retained only when appropriate.
- Hardens persistence against stop/restart races and stale snapshot ordering.
- Refactors Quran reader state and preference actions to reduce ViewModel surface area and satisfy Detekt limits without changing reader behavior.
Design System & Interface
- Completes the next phase of the shared design-system rollout.
- Unifies major Quran reader and Hadith surfaces around reusable Islamic UI components.
- Expands the shared Islamic component layer and formalizes component-adoption and UI-state guidance for future screens.
- Refines Adhkar, Prayer Times, Qibla, Ramadan, Scholar Library, Settings, and related surfaces for greater consistency.
- Improves responsive layouts and shared presentation rules while keeping feature-specific functionality intact.
Prayer Times & Qibla
- Compacts the prayer home experience while adding a complete monthly prayer timetable.
- Moves reusable compass, heading-smoothing, and Qibla-calculation logic into shared core modules.
- Refines nearby-mosque presentation and related Qibla UI behavior.
- Strengthens automated verification for prayer calculation, location/notification contracts, nearby mosques, and responsive layout behavior.
Notifications & Shared Architecture
- Adds a shared feature-notification coordinator to centralize notification integration.
- Adds notification integration hooks for the Hadith and Learning features.
- Introduces stricter module-boundary verification to keep feature dependencies maintainable as the app grows.
Quality, Testing & Release Reliability
- Adds dedicated verification for Quran playback reliability and persisted-session restoration.
- Expands automated tests around restored playback snapshots, repeat remainder, seek recovery, queue behavior, and retry semantics.
- Adds broad Learning Academy tests covering assessments, persisted progress, roadmap links, mistake review, and content integrity.
- Keeps production publishing gated by build verification, unit tests, Android Lint, Detekt, API 26/36 emulator tests, signing validation, and approved-content checks.
- The final pre-release CI run on the target commit passed the complete quality, emulator, closed-beta, and release-artifact pipelines.
