1.4.1 - Beacon Runtime Migration - 2026-09-01

Changed

  • Migrated Patchwork's embedded runtime dependency to
    com.alechilles:beacon-runtime:2.0.0.
  • Moved the passive Patchwork descriptor to
    META-INF/beacon/projects/patchwork.json.
  • Updated the standalone and embedded Patchwork release version to 1.4.1.

Compatibility

  • Beacon 2.0.0 is a breaking rename. Update Java imports from
    com.alechilles.alecstelemetry to com.alechilles.beacon and update namespaced
    descriptor paths before upgrading.
  • Patchwork's standalone/embedded election, passive project identity, consent
    categories, and failure behavior remain unchanged.
