Alchemist Coder now runs on macOS, Windows and Linux (Community edition, beta, not signed yet).

Download

  • macOS: Alchemist-Coder-0.1.1-arm64.dmg (Apple Silicon) or -x64.dmg (Intel). Open the DMG and drag the app to Applications; the first time, right-click it and choose Open.
  • Windows: Alchemist-Coder-0.1.1-setup.exe. SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher: choose More info → Run anyway.
  • Linux: Alchemist-Coder-0.1.1-x86_64.AppImage (make it executable and run it) or Alchemist-Coder-0.1.1-amd64.deb.

SHA256SUMS lists the checksums. Every installer was built and opened on a real machine of its platform before this release.

Fixes

  • An agent's own copy (and Arena worktrees) find the right folder when the project path differs from the one git reports: opened through a symlink on macOS, or with short or differently written paths on Windows.
  • Arena test commands with quotes run on Windows.
  • Paths with backslashes work everywhere in the app (new file, rename, breadcrumbs, reviews, organization projects).
  • Keyboard shortcuts read Ctrl+K, Ctrl+Shift+F… on Windows and Linux.
