QuestTogether 5.7.6-beta.1
Pre-releaseQuestTogether 5.7.6-beta.1 embeds libchev v1.0.0 to share logging, diagnostics, callback guards, deferred-work mechanics, and test execution with the other Together addons. The library is included; no separate addon installation is needed.
- Diagnostic reports include common client/addon/library information and retain the newest events when the copy window fills.
- Quest, party, nameplate, and restriction behavior remains owned by QuestTogether, with isolated per-addon runtime stores.
- Coordinate links remain usable while QT is disabled when restrictions allow them; queued background work stays paused and stale timers are discarded.
/qt testnow includes 315 cases: the existing 300, ten shared library checks, and five integration regressions.
Validation: all 315 tests pass in both orders under Lua 5.1.5 and 5.2.4; Lua syntax, TOC load order, and the embedded revision/hash manifest pass. Embedded libchev source: 09ac76eb6fe8e9589b809188652950c3cd9e444c.
This is a beta release. Live Retail/Forever UI rendering and taint behavior after this extraction still need verification. After reloading, run /qt test and /qt diagnostics, then exercise quests, progress bubbles, nameplates, and coordinate links across combat, zoning, disable/re-enable, and reload with your usual addons. The earlier Retail 300-test confirmation applied to v5.7.5.
