Lost Signal VHS v1.8 — Analog Fog
The atmosphere now belongs to the recorded world instead of being a clean overlay. Scene-depth fog enters the signal before YIQ conversion, composite decoding, temporal history, and tape wear, so distant air naturally develops chroma bleed, ghosting, interlacing, and analog noise.
New
- Depth-based atmospheric fog with neutral, Backrooms, Poolrooms, and Liminal Night palettes
- Adjustable density, clear start distance, falloff distance, and world-anchored variation
- New Analog Fog preset
- Fog tuning added to Backrooms, Poolrooms, and Liminal Night
- Conservative clear fallback for the first-person hand and depth-disagreeing translucent geometry
- Extended compatibility target for Minecraft Java 1.18.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.4, 1.20.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, and 1.21.10, alongside the existing 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.11, 26.1.2, and 26.2 targets
Installation

Extended targets share the same conservative GLSL 1.20 and Iris depth/composite interfaces. Live verification is still recommended for every loader and graphics-driver combination.
