AlphaDocs 0.1.1

AlphaDocs by Alpha Workroom: a native offline document editor with the supplied Free Use & Non-Monetisation Licence 1.1.

  • Windows setup/portable ZIP, Linux DEB/portable archive, and macOS Apple silicon/Intel PKG/app bundles.
  • Optional daily GitHub update checks, manual Help/About access and matching installer downloads. Checks never send document content or execute updates.
  • Independent open-document tabs, .adocs downloads, local autosave/history, rich content, comments, offline proofing and reversible image editing.
  • Theme-aware owner branding, file-location access, scrolling titles and undoable image drops between paragraph lines.
  • A refreshed project page with formatted book/guide/brief examples, chapter/file-tab GIFs, sharing and crop demonstrations, and a 32-second promo video.

Downloads include licences/notices and checksums. Windows printing is implemented; Linux/macOS native printing remains outstanding. Interchange formats support a documented subset. macOS PKGs are unsigned and not Apple-notarised; app bundles have ad-hoc signatures. Read the installation notes before choosing a package.
