Screenshot Booster 1.0.1 fixes displaced screenshots and black areas in the editor when drawing contexts use different display scales or origins.

Fixed

  • Keep screenshot content aligned with the canvas, annotations, and crop boundaries.
  • Use the drawing context's pixel density for cached images.
  • Rebuild the image cache when the editor moves between displays with different backing scales.

Download ScreenshotBooster-1.0.1-universal.dmg, open it, and drag Screenshot Booster into Applications.

  • Requires macOS 26 or later.
  • Universal binary for Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • Ad-hoc signed; not Apple-notarized. macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security to open the downloaded app. Screen Recording permission may need to be granted again after updating.
  • SHA-256 checksum is included as a separate asset.

Validation

171 rendering, annotation, zoom, and canvas checks passed against the release commit, including simulated 1×/2× display contexts, shifted/flipped origins, cropping, and zoom up to 1600%. The disk image and app signature were verified. Physical multi-monitor behavior still needs user verification.
