Screenshot Booster 1.0.2 includes all changes since 1.0.1, including the background-save cleanup fix and the complete regression suite.

Fixed

  • Remove an orphaned screenshot file if its pin is dismissed while its background
    save is still running.
  • Wait for the background write before checking saved-bitmap deletion in tests.

Added

  • Rendering, display-scale, annotation, thumbnail, and library regression checks
    with isolated temporary storage.
  • GitHub Actions build, test, and DMG artifacts on macOS 26.
  • Repository privacy checks for commit identities, local paths, Finder metadata,
    and common secret formats.
  • Project documentation, MIT license, contribution and security policies, and
    issue and pull request templates.
  • An English utility catalog with installation and development instructions.

Download ScreenshotBooster-1.0.2-universal.dmg, open it, and drag Screenshot Booster into Applications.

  • macOS 26 or later.
  • Universal binary for Apple Silicon and Intel.
  • Ad-hoc signed; not Apple-notarized. On first launch, macOS may require approval in Privacy & Security. Screen Recording permission may need to be granted again after updating.
  • A SHA-256 checksum is included as a separate asset.

Validation

The installer is the artifact produced by GitHub Actions for the exact release commit. The pipeline checks repository privacy, builds both architectures, runs the full regression suite, and creates the DMG. The downloaded image is also checked for its embedded app version, architectures, and code signature before publication.

All 222 checks passed.
