SDK 0.3.0 adds language providers and connection-bound workspace edit sessions for external plugin developers.

  • Completion, hover, definition, references and document symbols, with TypeScript declarations, JSON Schemas, explicit document.read / language.provide grants and stale-result cancellation.
  • Workspace project helpers with retained CAS revisions, bounded UTF-16 text edits, explicit reload after conflict or uncertain writes, and invalidation after reconnect.
  • Runnable language and HTTP project examples, English/Korean guides, and exact public-package inventory checks.

Install the versioned GitHub archive:

npm install --save-exact https://github.com/Altifigence/dds-plugin-sdk/releases/download/v0.3.0/altifigence-dds-plugin-sdk-0.3.0.tgz

Node.js 22 or 24 is supported; there are no runtime dependencies. This is a developer preview distributed through GitHub Releases, not an npm registry publication.

Existing API contracts and workspace protocol v1 remain supported. Language capabilities require a 0.3.0 host and explicit new grants. New plugin archives produced by this CLI require SDK >=0.3.0 <0.4.0; publishers must validate and repack older plugin archives whose peer range excluded 0.3.0. See the compatibility and publishing guides.

Validation: 115 runtime tests, type checks, nine schemas, the exact 87-file package inventory and independent packed consumers passed in Windows/Linux × Node22/24 CI. A Windows consumer also verified Unicode editing, conflicts, explicit reload, a real configured tool process and reconnect against the public 0.2.1 server in Ubuntu 24.04 WSL2.

The SDK is an intentional public developer interface. It does not ship the private DDS application or add a DDS product editor bridge. The in-process host is for trusted plugins and is not an OS sandbox. File cancellation does not prove rollback. Apache-2.0 and included notices apply to SDK materials; independently licensed plugins and third-party components retain their own terms.
