mrowser v0.0.2

A new package identity, three new settings, and full multi-language support.

⚠️ Breaking change: package ID

The application ID has changed from net.mrowser to com.EdS.mrowserF.

Android treats this as a different app, so this build will not update your existing install — it installs side-by-side instead. To move to v1.3.0:

  1. Uninstall the old net.mrowser build (or leave it — they can coexist).
  2. Install this APK.
  3. Re-add your favorites; local data (favorites, history, settings) is stored per-package and does not carry over automatically.

✨ Added

  • Language setting — choose System default, Українська, English, or Русский. The entire UI is fully translated for all three; switching applies immediately, no reinstall needed.
  • Desktop site mode — request the desktop layout of a page instead of its mobile/TV layout, for sites that hide content or streams behind a mobile view. Toggling reloads the current page.
  • Clear history on exit — optionally wipe browsing history automatically whenever you confirm exiting the app, for a clean start next session.

🔧 Changed

  • Package / namespace renamed to com.EdS.mrowserF; applicationId updated to match.
  • Settings screen is now scrollable to comfortably fit the new options on any TV resolution.
  • LICENSE updated to add Edytor Studio's copyright alongside the original author's.
  • README.md rewritten; the previous version is preserved at [README_original.md](https://github.com/AmakerGame/mrowserF/releases/new).

🧪 Tests

  • Added unit tests for the new AppLanguage mapping and for the new Settings fields (language, desktopMode, clearHistoryOnExit), including backward-compatible defaults for settings files written by older versions.

📦 Installation

Sideload only — no Play Store, no Google account required.

adb install app-release.apk
