Klik PRO v1.3.2
Highlights
- Restores the physical Gesture Button as a recordable control with its default
⇧⌘6shortcut, while a device-scoped F20 sentinel leaves keyboard⌘Tabunchanged for normal app switching. - Sends default browser Back/Forward as native side-button events in Chromium-family browsers and Firefox, avoiding Claude for Chrome shortcut activation; Safari keeps its documented bracket fallback.
- Adds read-only detection of configured Chromium-extension shortcuts so browser-local collisions can show
May Conflict. - Adds a persistent Klik PRO menu-bar icon. Its two green button dots appear only while the Accessibility input tap is active.
- Makes the ChatGPT / Codex and Claude Special Feature flexible: each launcher can use None, Middle, Gesture, Forward, or Back without overwriting the button's normal mapping.
- Enables the Special Feature only when a valid ChatGPT / Codex or Claude desktop app is installed, with separate readiness feedback for missing apps and launcher wrappers.
- Lists Scroll Mode as
Coming soonwithout intercepting its native Control-C firmware event. - Introduces the approved opaque frosted-white mouse preview and centered app icon with an overlapping PRO badge and soft lower shadow.
- Adds a red
Unsaved changesnote for pending configuration edits, plus refined Special Feature spacing and updated tested-hardware/app documentation.
Upgrade notes
The input helper changed substantially. After replacing the app and LaunchAgents, macOS may require you to remove and re-add Klik PRO Helper under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. Existing configuration is migrated and preserved.
Gesture isolation currently targets one supported device profile. Generic middle and forward/back controls were also checked across compatible multi-button mice. Scroll Mode remains native and unimplemented.
The optional ChatGPT / Codex and Claude quick-launch still requires its matching second-instance launcher wrapper. The installed desktop app and wrapper are validated separately.
Klik PRO is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Gatekeeper therefore blocks a fresh download until you use Open Anyway in Privacy & Security or clear the quarantine attribute as described in INSTALL.md.
Install
DMG (recommended)
Download Klik-PRO-v1.3.2-macos-universal.dmg, open it, and drag Klik PRO.app onto the Applications shortcut.

Klik PRO is a universal Apple Silicon and Intel app for macOS 13 or later. It is ad-hoc signed but not notarized with an Apple Developer ID. If macOS blocks the first launch, click Done, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Continue with the bundled INSTALL.md for LaunchAgent and Accessibility setup, or see the current installation guide.
The DMG was added on 2026-07-14 by repackaging this release's original checksum-verified ZIP. The app bundle and binaries are unchanged.

Verification
The complete routing, Gesture isolation, menu-icon, launcher-assignment, installed-app gating, preview-fixture, and unsaved-state checks passed. Both binaries compile for Apple Silicon and Intel with a macOS 13 minimum. Deterministic artwork checks, clean archive inspection, exact resource comparisons, SHA-256 verification, and strict deep code-signature verification also passed.
The packaged v1.3.2 build was not installed or physically retested on the mouse before publication; the currently installed app remains v1.3.1.
