OxideTerm 2.0.7 expands SSH configuration interoperability and startup controls,
fixes cross-platform terminal rendering defects, and improves workspace reliability.

✨ Highlights

  • Added automatic SSH Config synchronization that imports new hosts and updates previously imported connections without overwriting same-name manual connections or user-managed metadata.
  • Expanded imported SSH routes with recursive ProxyJump resolution and opt-in direct ProxyCommand execution; shell operators remain rejected and command values stay out of persistence and diagnostics.
  • Added launch-at-login controls for Windows and Linux, with a direct link to the system Login Items settings for ad-hoc signed macOS builds.

🛠️ Fixes

  • Prevented Vim terminal queries from being misclassified as Sixel images, eliminating the repeated black artifact blocks they could leave across supported platforms.
  • Preserved a full-screen terminal application's hidden-cursor state instead of replacing it with the configured visible cursor shape.
  • Fixed Windows DirectWrite text corruption caused by mutable shaping buffers being reused after their callback lifetime ended.
  • Kept all four welcome-screen shortcut hints on one row in standard Windows layouts while preserving wrapping in narrow windows.
  • Restored Host Tools when OxideSens AI is disabled and corrected saved-connection search focus so hidden inputs no longer intercept terminal keys.
  • Fixed keyboard and IME input routing in portable connection-transfer dialogs.
  • Preserved ACP agent context across tool-call continuations and restored the configured default-key fallback when agent authentication is unavailable.
  • Added the complete ANSI palette to asciicast v2 recordings for compatibility with conforming players.
  • Reported stale saved-connection actions explicitly instead of silently operating on missing entries.

  • Made issue-quality checks recoverable and covered their policy decisions with focused tests.
  • Published repository-owned release, SSH session-ownership, and secret-handling skills for contributors and coding agents.
  • Simplified stable release notes so the GitHub Release title is not repeated in the body and change details appear before download links.
