v4.3.0
Highlight
This release populate the status of the systray applet (as defined in the StatusNotifierItem specification) according to the current system state. The status is set to "Passive" if the system is up-to-date and "Active" if there are updates available.
This allows to honor status related system tray settings, such KDE Plasma's "Show when relevant" option, which will now properly hide the Arch-Update systray applet if there's no pending update. Note that the systray applet needs to be restarted once after upgrading to v4.3.0 for the required change to take effect (in order for the "Show when relevant" option to work as expected).
For KDE users that still prefer to have the Arch-Update systray applet always shown (regardless if there are pending updates or not), you can set the "Always show" option for it from the KDE Plasma System Tray Settings panel instead.
EDIT:
This release contains a bug accidentally introduced in v4.2.3 which breaks the detection of AUR package updates (outside of checks). If you're currently running Arch-Update v4.2.3 or v4.3.0, you will likely need to update Arch-Update directly via your AUR helper (or manually), as it therefore won't be able to detect its own update.
This bug has been fixed in v4.3.1, see the changelog for details.
